Good to know
Will the alarm ring when the app is closed?
Yes. Every alarm is scheduled on the phone itself, so it rings with the app closed and without a connection. On iPhone, dose alarms are Time Sensitive so they come through a Focus; the ring/silent switch still silences sounds, so keep the ringer on during treatment. On Android, allow “Alarms & reminders” for exact timing; dose alarms play at alarm volume. Settings has a test alarm so you can hear it for yourself.
Does IVF Planner tell me what dose to take?
No. You enter exactly what your clinic prescribed. IVF Planner never calculates, suggests or changes a dose, and it doesn't give medical advice: it makes sure what your clinic planned happens on time, and is on record.
Which treatments does it handle?
IVF, egg freezing, frozen embryo transfer (FET), IUI and anything else your clinic schedules: injections, pills, patches and suppositories; dose changes; every-other-day and weekday schedules; and dual triggers.
Where is my data, and who can see it?
On your phone, and only you can see it. There's no account and no cloud: your cycles never leave the device unless you export a backup file or a PDF report yourself. Your phone's own backups (iCloud or Google) may include the app's data, following your settings.
Which languages is it in?
English, Japanese (日本語), Korean (한국어), Traditional Chinese (繁體中文), Portuguese (Português) and Spanish (Español): the alarms, the widgets, the report and the spreadsheet too. It follows your phone's language, or you can pick one in Settings.
Can I move to a new phone?
Yes. In Settings, save a backup file and keep it wherever you like. On the new phone, install IVF Planner and open the file, iPhone or Android.
Is it free?
Yes. The plan and calendar, every alarm including the trigger shot, and all the logging (scans, bloodwork, injection sites, check-ins) are free for every cycle. IVF Planner Plus is optional: extra alarms, the plan shared to your partner's calendar, no ads, cycle comparison, supply tracking, treatment costs and the doctor report without a video. Prices are shown in the app, in your currency, by the App Store or Google Play.
